Save programTKS New York is a sustained, project-based accelerator focused on emerging technologies, science, entrepreneurship, and real-world problem-solving.
Students explore technical fields, choose a focus, build projects, tackle company challenges, join hackathons, and present their thinking to professionals.
It best suits curious, self-directed students who want a demanding peer community and are prepared to keep developing projects between cohort sessions.
TKS New York is The Knowledge Society's in-person accelerator for students interested in emerging technology, science, entrepreneurship, and ambitious problem-solving. It combines a fixed local cohort with access to TKS's wider community, digital learning platform, events, and industry network.
The experience is built around action rather than conventional classroom testing. Students investigate subjects such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, genetic engineering, quantum computing, and brain-computer interfaces before creating projects, solving organizational challenges, joining hackathons, and presenting their ideas.
The program translates emerging technology and science into projects rather than relying on textbook instruction.
Students work on authentic organizational briefs and present recommendations to professional audiences.
A fixed local cohort is complemented by global community events, alumni connections, and industry mentors.
The published curriculum progresses from exploration and mental models to company challenges, moonshot projects, and a final showcase.
Applicants are evaluated for curiosity, ambition, and motivation instead of academic grades.
Curious, ambitious students who want to build tangible projects, explore emerging technologies, and learn alongside a motivated local cohort.
You prefer conventional lectures, tests, a short course, or a program that requires little independent work between sessions.
TKS New York can be worthwhile for a student who will actively use the mentoring, project framework, company challenges, and ambitious peer network. Its strongest value is the opportunity to create concrete work and practise applying technical ideas to difficult problems.
The commitment is significant: most engaged students spend seven to ten hours each week, and tuition plus the deposit requires careful family planning. The program is therefore easier to justify when the student genuinely wants sustained project work rather than a credential alone.
