    Leaders of Tomorrow summary

Appleby's academic leadership course explores how entrepreneurs and activists respond to climate change, social justice, technology ethics, and global innovation.

Students work together to design and pitch a mini initiative or campaign. It suits learners who enjoy discussing complex issues and turning ideas into practical proposals.

What is Leaders of Tomorrow: CEO Edition?

Leaders of Tomorrow: CEO Edition is Appleby College's academic leadership enrichment course. It examines climate change, social justice, technology ethics, and global innovation through the strategies of entrepreneurs and activists.

Students learn through classroom discussions and collaborative activities, then design and pitch a mini initiative or campaign addressing a real-world problem. The course connects leadership practice with Business Studies, World Issues, Social Studies, and Academic English.

Why Succeed highlights Leaders of Tomorrow

    • The team initiative gives students a concrete way to apply leadership ideas.

    • Studying entrepreneurs and activists connects business thinking with social impact.

    • The curriculum addresses technology ethics alongside environmental and social questions.

    • A maximum class size of 15 creates a manageable setting for discussion.

    • The pitch adds a practical communication task to the academic exploration.

Who is Leaders of Tomorrow for?

    Best for

Students interested in business leadership and social change who enjoy teamwork, discussion, and presenting ideas.

    Not ideal if

You want a mainly recreational camp or prefer working independently throughout the course.

Is Leaders of Tomorrow worth it?

This course offers a useful introduction to purposeful leadership through a specific team project. Its strongest feature is the opportunity to connect discussion of major issues with designing and presenting a proposed response.

The value depends on how actively a student participates and reflects on the experience. A short enrichment course can help students test their interests, but an initiative pitch alone does not demonstrate that they have implemented a solution or gained professional management experience.
