Accredited coaches teach tennis technique and match strategy, with ability-based groups supporting everyone from first-time players to advanced students.
Tennis is one part of a broader residential summer-school experience. Students pair the elective with an academic subject and join activities, evening programmes and cultural trips.
It suits students who want structured coaching and an international campus community rather than a tennis-only performance academy.
The Tennis Summer Programme is an ISSOS residential summer-school elective built around daily instruction from LTA and USTA-accredited coaches. Students are grouped by experience so beginners can learn the foundations while established players refine technique, movement and tactical awareness.
Tennis is paired with an academic option and a wider programme of campus activities and cultural trips. Friendly matches lead towards an end-of-programme tournament, giving students a practical way to apply their development on court.
Coaching is delivered by LTA and USTA-accredited professionals.
Ability-based grouping gives beginners and advanced players an appropriate starting point.
Four afternoons of weekly tennis provide substantial time for technique and match play.
Students can use indoor and outdoor courts and finish with a friendly tournament.
The residential model combines sport with academic study and international community life.
Students who want structured tennis development alongside academic study, residential campus life and an international social programme.
You want a tennis-only academy, daily elite-performance training or a non-residential option.
The programme offers a strong mix of accredited coaching, meaningful court time and opportunities to test new skills in matches. Its ability-based structure makes it useful for recreational beginners as well as students seeking to sharpen an established game.
The main limitation is that tennis occupies only part of a full residential summer-school schedule, with academic classes and group activities also compulsory. Students seeking intensive performance training as their sole focus may prefer a specialist academy.
