Fields is a recreational sports camp combining soccer, flag football, flag rugby and field hockey. Campers practice techniques and use them in friendly competition.
Its strongest fit is a child who enjoys trying different team games and developing confidence with peers. The emphasis is broad athletic development rather than specialization in one sport.
Fields is Ridley College's multisport senior day camp, combining soccer, flag football, flag rugby and field hockey. Campers practice passing, dribbling and teamwork while learning the rules and strategies behind each sport.
The experience centers on active participation and friendly competition with other campers. It combines sport-specific techniques with broader development in agility, coordination and sportsmanship.
Four field sports give campers a practical way to discover which games they enjoy most.
Technique practice connects directly with friendly competition, making teamwork part of the activity.
Groups of no more than 20 students provide a useful point of comparison for families.
Daily hot lunches, trained instructors and on-campus nursing support make parent planning more concrete.
Campers who want variety, enjoy team games and would like to develop techniques through friendly competition.
Your main goal is intensive specialization in one sport; Fields divides its focus across four different games.
Fields is worth considering when the goal is an active camp experience with variety and social participation. Its combination of technique practice and friendly games offers a clear route to exploring several sports while developing teamwork.
The main trade-off is breadth: time is shared across four games. Families seeking concentrated development in one sport should compare it with a specialist camp and weigh the daily travel routine alongside the fee.
