    Racquets Camp summary

Ridley College's Racquets Camp combines tennis, squash and pickleball in a practical sports program centered on drills, peer practice and friendly matches.

Experienced instructors teach each sport's rules and playing style, with personalized tips on technique, footwork and strategy.

Its main appeal is trying several racket sports while developing teamwork and confidence; students seeking concentrated training in one sport should weigh that breadth carefully.

    What is Racquets Camp?

Racquets Camp is Ridley College's sports camp covering tennis, squash and pickleball within its Explorers offerings. Campers learn through drills, practice with peers and friendly matches, with attention to each game's rules and playing style.

The experience combines technical development with strength, agility and mental focus. Experienced instructors give personalized tips, while shared practice encourages teamwork and sportsmanship.

    Why Succeed highlights Racquets Camp

    • Combining three racket sports gives campers a useful way to compare different rules, movements and playing styles.

    • Personalized instructor tips make the experience more purposeful than unstructured court time.

    • Friendly matches let campers apply techniques while practicing sportsmanship and mental focus.

    • Daily lunch, small groups and on-campus medical support provide practical reassurance for families.

    Who is Racquets Camp for?

    Best for

Students who enjoy active group learning and want to try tennis, squash and pickleball with coaching and friendly matches.

    Not ideal if

Your priority is intensive specialization in a single sport or a formal tournament pathway.

    Is Racquets Camp worth it?

The camp offers a useful introduction to several racket sports, with drills and matches giving students opportunities to apply what they learn. Personalized tips and peer practice can help a camper identify which sport they most enjoy pursuing.

Its breadth is also a limitation for someone seeking concentrated technical work in one discipline. Families should judge its value through enjoyment, participation and skill development, and consider ongoing local coaching if sustained progress is the goal.
