Current high school or equivalent secondary-level, pre-university students worldwide.
School-based team members and advisor must share the same school branch or campus.
Teams must maintain four to six actively contributing students.
Students may participate on only one team.
The student team leader must be at least 16 at the competition start.
Participants must not have earned a secondary school diploma before the competition begins.
School-based teams require a teacher or educator advisor from their school.
Homeschooled and privately tutored students working toward a diploma or equivalent may participate.
Entirely homeschooled teams require approval before registration.
Homeschooled students joining school-based teams must reside within the school district.
Paid advisors, education consultants, and non-Wharton courses claiming to teach the competition are prohibited.
