What Succeed checks
We review public program details such as eligibility, age range, cost, duration, location, format, accommodation, meals and application timing.
What Last verified means
Last verified is the latest date Succeed checked the public details shown on this page. Program dates, prices and availability can still change.
How official sources are used
Succeed uses official provider information where available, then rewrites it into a student-facing summary for comparison and planning.
Why some dates are reference dates
If the current cycle is not available, Succeed may show the latest verified cycle dates so you can understand typical timing.
Succeed is independent from this provider unless a partnership is clearly stated.

iD Tech’s NVIDIA academy turns AI concepts into working machine learning projects using Python, Linux and Jetson Orin Nano hardware.
Students move from hardware setup and model training to a custom project, documentation, a video demonstration and a showcase.
It suits students who want practical coding and computer vision experience, with attention to bias, false positives and responsible design.
The NVIDIA® AI and Machine Learning Academy is an iD Tech program focused on building practical artificial intelligence and computer vision projects. Students combine Python and Linux with machine learning datasets and NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano hardware. iD Tech instructors teach the course using content from NVIDIA experts.
Assignment-driven workshops develop into a custom final project that students test, document and demonstrate. The curriculum also considers bias and false positives in model design. Campus recreation complements the technical work, and students take home their hardware and project files.
The curriculum connects Python, Linux and model training to a tangible hardware project.
Bias and false positives give students a practical reason to question how AI systems behave.
Documentation and a video demonstration make the final project easier to explain beyond the classroom.
Take-home hardware, project files and setup guides support continued experimentation.
The NVIDIA submission pathway gives the project a defined completion goal.
Students who want to build and explain a working machine learning project while exploring hardware, coding and responsible AI.
You mainly want a broad introduction to technology without sustained coding, model testing and project documentation.
The academy offers a clear route from foundational coding to a project students can demonstrate and continue developing at home. Its strongest value is the combination of guided instruction, practical hardware and a documented output. It is most useful when the student wants to keep experimenting afterward.
The fee makes this a substantial family investment, so the project experience should matter more than the certificate alone. NVIDIA recognition is conditional, and participation does not guarantee a college place or internship. The university setting also does not make this a university-sponsored course.

Best started
Begin family planning a few weeks before registration opens, allowing longer for international travel arrangements.
Main challenge
Turning a workable idea into a tested model and a clear demonstration.
Try a short Python exercise using functions and conditional statements.
List a few real-world problems that an image or pose recognition model could address.
Think about the consequences of incorrect predictions and biased training data.
Discuss campus, overnight arrangements and the full booking budget with a parent or guardian.
Useful if
You want practical experience to test your interest in AI.
The sample curriculum moves from device setup and coding foundations to a custom machine learning project. Students train models, test their ideas and prepare work that can be demonstrated and submitted to NVIDIA.
Set up the Jetson Orin Nano and connect to it remotely using SSH in VS Code.
Practice Python fundamentals and work with Linux and machine learning datasets.
Collect data, train neural networks and refine classification models.
Experiment with NVIDIA Jetson AI Lab and a language model.
Choose a final-project idea, plan it and build a working version.
Iterate, test and customize the project.
Create documentation, record a video demonstration and prepare the NVIDIA submission portfolio.
Showcase the final project and take the hardware home.
