About Atlas Summer Courses
Founded in 2010 by University of Oxford graduates, Atlas Summer Courses is an independent education provider offering academic summer experiences for students ages 9–24. Its programs span more than 40 subjects and use hired facilities in Oxford and Cambridge colleges and at Harrow School, combining small-group teaching, cultural activities, and an international student community.
Teaching style
Atlas uses small, discussion-based classes, seminars, personalized tutorials, feedback, practical projects, and guided independent study. Teaching is adapted by age: hands-on learning for younger students, structured discussion and research for ages 13–15, and increasingly university-style seminars, tutorials, and independent analysis for ages 16–24.
